Environmental Day, Bankers Cleans-up the Waste From Seman Coast

The employees from Environmental Directorate and Bankers collected waste on the coast, aiming not only to keep a clean environment, but also to enable the start of the tourist season in a clean space. The Regional Director of Environment in Fier, Arben Voja said that such initiatives are frequent and in focus of this institution’s activity.

“The Regional Directorate of Environment in Fier has frequent these types of initiatives, especially today that we are on the International Environment Day. Two weeks ago we have been in the Divjaka beach and today we are here, in Seman coast continuing with this initiative and being supported by “Bankers Petroleum” Company” said the Director Voja.

For Bankers Petroleum Albania, such initiatives are in line with a number of others undertaken previously. The Human Resources and Administration Manager, highlights that the environment for Bankers is at the core of the company’s day-to-day oil extraction operations.

“As an international oil production company, we are not only focused on hydrocarbon operations but also on the environment of our community. Today is Environment Day, so we have cooperated with the Regional Directorate of Environment in Fier to clean up the coast of Seman “- said the Manager of Human Resources and Administration, Ivan – Yifan Jin.

Every year, the oil company organizes activities for cleaning the various areas in the region of Fier, mainly in the tourist ones.

“We think that environmental protection is very important and we pay attention not only to such activities but also to our day-to-day operations in the Patos-Marinza oilfield” said further the HR Manager of Bankers.
