Bankers Petroleum Albania Appoints Chairman of the Supervisory Board & Co- Chairman to Support Ongoing Collaboration with State Authorities

Bankers Petroleum Albania has appointed Mr. Andrija Kojaković as Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Co-Chairman, bringing with him a distinguished career in energy leadership, diplomacy, and strategic advisory.

Mr. Kojaković will play a central role in overseeing the company’s engagement with Albanian authorities and supporting a full clarification of the current situation.

Mr. Kojaković brings extensive senior management experience in the oil and gas sector in the Balkans, including his tenure as CEO of Croatia’s INA d.d. (1995–1997), where he led major financial and legal restructuring initiatives. He also served as Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to several key countries (among others China and the United Kingdom) and as a Board Director at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), advising on economic development and governance. In the private sector, he founded and led the Central European Oil Company, backed by major international financial institutions.

His appointment reinforces our commitment to strong governance, transparency, and responsible leadership as we move forward.

In the meantime, our operations remain stable. We have re-constituted our core team, and our employees are well-supported. Day-to-day activities continue without major disruption, thanks to the leadership of highly qualified and experienced engineers who are driving the company forward.
