Bankers is making a significant investment of US$ 96,000 to reconstruct two vital roads in the village of Sheqishtë, located in Patos. This initiative aims to improve the quality of life for the local residents and enhance the area’s connectivity.
Mr. Huanqin Xiao, CEO of Bankers, along with the Mayor of Patos, Fation Duro, recently inspected the progress of the works. The roads, which span over 1 km and were previously almost impassable, are being rebuilt with a careful reconstruction plan that includes an asphalt width of 2.5 meters.
Reflecting on the project’s origins, Xiao shared, “The first time I visited this village was in October 2022. An older man requested Bankers to rebuild the road to the church. We promised to consider it, and now we are fulfilling that promise. This road will greatly improve the quality of life for residents and strengthen our collaboration with Patos Municipality.”
Mayor Duro expressed gratitude for the investment, highlighting the positive impact on tourism, given the cultural and historical significance of the nearby churches, “Shën Trifoni” and “Shën Sotiri.” The project is expected to be completed soon, ensuring stable and resistant roads that will benefit both residents and visitors alike.
