Bankers Supports young students in learning Chinese!

The sixth Chinese language competition “Chinese Bridge” was held yesterday in the premises of the Confucius Institute in Tirana. This activity is supported by Bankers and serves to young students in learning different languages and cultures.
The Chinese language competition “Chinese Bridge” took place for the 6th year in a row at the premises of the Confucius Institute in Tirana. Dozens of young people, pupils and high school students from the capital city performed their skills in Chinese language, art and culture.
The Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Tirana, Mr. Wang Dexin, said that the interest of Albanian youth in learning the Chinese language and culture is very positive in the conditions when the movement between the two countries has been facilitated thanks to the lifting of the visas.
“This competition is an activity that takes place under the special care of the Embassy and we are very happy that the young people of Albania get to know and learn the Chinese language and culture. Now the movement and the relationship between the two countries are expected to intensify, because of lifting of the visas and an increase of visitor flows from both sides is expected” said Mr. Dexin.
Bankers CEO Mr. Huanqin Xiao said that Bankers has supported Confucius Institute activities and programs for young students as we believe that learning different languages and cultures is very important to succeed in today’s world.

The jury also selected the winners of this competition, where the first two of them will be able to go to China to represent Albania in the worldwide competition for the Chinese language. Globally, the “Chinese Bridge” competition has been taking place around the world for 22 years.
